Eye Love London Eye

London, 16 January 2008

Discover true romance at London’s most iconic landmark this Valentine’s Day as The London Eye landscape will be decorated with love hearts and sonnets to inspire even the most tongue-tied of romantics.

In recognition that not everyone is a born-romantic and because some of us just aren’t good with words, the London Eye is set to provide the perfect setting for a memorable Valentine’s Day in 2008.

Featuring at the centre of the London Eye’s Valentine’s transformation this year is a spectacular pulsating heart, colourfully lit and displaying terms of affection and endearment prompting those less eloquent romantics amongst us on their landscape.

Whether enjoying a Red Rose Flight or a Cupid’s Capsule, visitor’s senses will be tantalised with scents of roses and Charbonnel et Walker pink chocolates as they purchase their tickets, creating the perfect atmosphere to share with their Valentine. Visitors can also indulge in a Valentine’s Champagne Flight with Laurent-Perrier champagne and chocolates whilst marvelling at the romantic panoramic views of London.

As passengers prepare to embark on the breathtaking journey of London’s landscape they will be inspired, with messages of love in languages from around the world displayed in the surrounding area of The London Eye.

Especially for Valentine’s Day mime artists will entertain visitors waiting to board their flight with blossoming roses and love heart balloons.

Of course, London’s awe-inspiring landscape can also be admired from a difference perspective and the London Eye River Cruise is offering a special Valentine’s Cruise to mark the special occasion. With a glass of champagne in-hand, visitors will enjoy a 40 minute cruise of the River Thames listening to romantic music.
