London Eye brings the seaside to the city

If only British summers could be trusted to bring lazy sultry days and long warm nights… but we all know better than that! This summer the London Eye isn’t relying on sunshine to bring out our sunny sides - it’s bringing the sea to the city with its very own seaside spectacular, right under the London Eye!

From 26 July to 1 September you’ll be able to enjoy deckchairs, sandcastle and seaside games – and what sums up the seaside more than an ice cream and a stick of rock?

The London Eye landscape will provide summer treats galore, with visitors lounging on deckchairs watching the world go by while the more attention-seeking amongst us pose to their heart’s content with a traditional seaside peep board. Saturday visitors will even be entertained by a troupe of street performers and their seaside-themed antics. Plus there’ll be fun for all the family will a number of traditional games including quoits, giant Jenga and jumbo Connect 4 – challenge your mum, brother or aunty to a games marathon while you cool down with an ice cream or two.

And to end that perfect British summer’s day at the seaside, you can enjoy a glass of Pimm’s on board the London Eye, whilst taking in the breathtaking city landscape.

Enjoy summer with the London Eye – we look forward to seeing you soon!
